About Sea Turtle Seven
Every turtle has a story. What's yours?
Hi, I'm Paul Henry Devoti. Sea Turtle Seven was born out of people's passionate reaction to my original sea turtle art sculptures. The seven sea turtle ambassadors for ST7 are original art renditions that come together on our graphic sea turtle designs.
Not from market research. Not from a business plan. From watching people stop dead in their tracks in front of a ceramic sea turtle and feel something they weren't expecting to feel.
People didn't just admire the turtles. They lit up. They grabbed their partner's arm. They told me about the time they snorkeled in Hawaii and a green sea turtle came out of nowhere. The night they watched a leatherback nest in Costa Rica. The moment their child pointed at the ocean and said "turtle" for the first time.
Every single person had their own sea turtle story. And every single story was told with the same look on their face — somewhere between joy and reverence.
That's when I understood. People who love sea turtles don't just like them. They are irrationally, extraordinarily, emotionally attached to them. In the best possible way. Sea turtles for many are a spirit animal.
ST7 is for those people.
In researching sea turtles for my original artwork I found and visited Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital on the coast of North Carolina. The passion and connection of the mother and daughter team who founded the organization in 1998 was immediate. Today it is one of the biggest facilities of its kind — with dedicated staff and volunteers keeping sea turtles alive and educating the public.
Sea Turtle Seven is here to give $1.07 from every shirt sold to Karen Beasley — in the name of the seven sea turtle brand ambassadors and every customer who makes it happen.
What's your sea turtle story?
